The
Degree of Chevalier is
the highest award for
service to the Order of
DeMolay within the gift
of the International
Supreme Council. Recipients
of the Chevalier Degree
are some of the most
active
members of the greater
DeMolay
family.
The
Court of Chevaliers,
with a membership of all
Chevaliers residing in
Iowa, assembles several
times yearly to confer
degrees and observe
special events.
The
Court of Chevaliers
confers the Degree of
Chevalier on those recommended
by Iowa DeMolay's
Executive Officer
to the DeMolay
International Supreme
Council.
The
Court also supports a
variety of other Iowa
DeMolay efforts and
organizes a yearly
dinner observance around
November 8 each year.
It is the obligation of
all Chevaliers to remain
in perpetual service to
DeMolay
and to be mindful of the
importance in teaching
right action to our
youth.

The
annual observance is an
excellent time for to
gather together for
dozens of Chevaliers,
from their teens to
their seventies, to
enjoy the bounds of
brotherhood. Our
observance is regularly
attended by Chevaliers
from out-of-state,
whether transplants from
other jurisdictions or
those able to travel for
the yearly observance. We
hope to see you there.
